In addition to the Nitty Gritty Bike Band, other groups in the Athens area cycling community host regular rides. Local bike shops sponsor rides, generally beginning at their shops, for recreational and competitive riders. Since their schedules vary, please contact them for the most recent information.

The Clarke Middle School also hosts regular rides. While at this time CMS does not have web page, they do have a mailing list. Please contact Ken Sherman, CMS principal, at the following address for information (shermank@clarke.k12.ga.us). CMS also sponsors an annual, overnight fund raising ride to Savannah each spring.
