Our
Rides |
|||||||||
Generally
there is a long ride with some shorter options. The longer rides tend
to be relatively fast (15-18 mph depending upon how hilly) while shorter
rides are at a more relaxed pace <15mph. You should have a road
bike if you plan on doing the longer rides, whereas fat-tire and
road bikes are appropriate for shorter more slowly paced rides. If
you are a new rider and would like to go on the longer ride simply
let the ride starter know, and the group will make sure you are not
left by yourself. We will either slow the pace or wait at critical
turns along the route. Thus, we encourage new riders to test themselves
on some of our longer rides. After a number of rides we encourage
new riders to contribute to the group by becoming ride starters and
planning new routes. Just ask any veteran rider what is involved. We
hope to see you on the open road! |
